IKS is focused on obtaining proper and healthy body movement. IK Sessions help the body become more stabile and mobile which allow for greater overall health and reduce the likelihood of injury during activities like yoga and athletics.
IKS combines knowledge and training in anatomy, kinesiology and yoga to develop a personalized yoga therapy type session that serves as a prerequisite to many health practices.
IKS is also used to overcome past injury and restore the body to a state of homeostasis. Even if you have never suffered a severe injury, day to day activity, incorrect posture, and even the way we walk can cause misalignment in our bodies which can lead to internal damages. Oftentimes pain and discomfort you feel is due to an underlying issue that should be addressed with IKS.
